New Cookbook

Hi all,

I recently made a cookbook for my boyfriend filled with all the recipes we've done together. I have been making many things recently, but I can't post as most of them were gifts and I'm unsure if they've been received yet. Without further ado:

Here are some screen shots of the pages as I was designing them, so that there's no yellow light and you can actually see what I made!

Although I think the screenshots turned out quite pretty, the book itself is really great and probably one of my best yet. Quote: my boyfriend. Yay!

New Album for the Friendship Circle.

I made this album for the Friendship Circle, a non-profit in Philadelphia. They work to help developmentally disabled children in the area, both the physically and mentally handicapped. It was made for a gala that they had celebrating two of their donors. The inside pages were also decorated by yours truly.

Italian Album

So for Christmas I kind of pulled out all the stops. I'm kicking myself for not taking pictures of the absolutely awesome wrapping job I did. It involved buttons sewed on ribbons. 'Nuff said. Anyway, I made books and stationery for everyone, but this post I'll just focus on my Italian Album.

I made two of these albums - one for my Aunt and one for my Grandmother. They loved both of them! And here are some pictures for your viewing pleasure.

Some info about the album: It's filled with old family photos that I re-printed on HP Premium photo paper. It's bound with a weirdo combination binding that I made up, consisting of coptic stitch and a maple leaf stitch that's normally reserved for stab binding, but I adopted it to fit this. Because it's coptic bound it lies flat when opened. I cut slits in the pages to hold the photos in.
